Anti Sexual Harassment (POSH)16 October 2025

On 16th October 2025 the Indus Valley College had organized an interactive seminar session about Anti Sexual Harassment (POSH) in collaboration with Rotary Club of Bangalore to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all. The seminar was conducted by Rtn. Mohan Kumar Consultant, Wipro And Assistant Governor 2025-2026.

The session aimed to educate students and staff about the definition, forms, and consequences of Sexual Harassment, as well as the legal measures and institutional mechanisms available for prevention and redressal.

Experts from the legal and social sectors discussed the sexual harassment of women at workplace (prevention, prohibition and redressal) act, 2013, and emphasized the role of The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in ensuring justice.

The seminar included interactive discussions, case studies, and awareness activities, encouraging participants to speak up against harassment and promote gender equality.

The program concluded with a pledge to create a campus environment based on respect, dignity, and safety for all.
