Students Grievance Cell
A genuine attempt to address student’s problems and complaints with individual attention is the maxim of the Students Grievance cell at Indus Valley College. A cordial student – teacher- parent relationship which ensures peaceful coexistence, is our vision thus ensuring the discipline, dignity and decorum of the college.
Anti Ragging Cell
Many innocent lives and careers have been shattered before its commencement due to the menace of Ragging .To tackle this grievance; an Anti Ragging cell is initiated. Any disorderly behavior or conduct by words, deed or action will not be tolerated and will be severely dealt with. A squad consisting of Member of the Management, Principal and teachers will immediately take required actions.
Anti Sexual Harassment Cell
As per the Supreme Court guidelines to provide basic rights against sexual harassment, an Anti Sexual Harassment Cell has been initiated at Indus Valley College for its staff and students. Its vision is to bring about a safe and congenial atmosphere, eliminating harassment of sexual nature regardless of gender. Speedy redressal of such issues is our mission.
Equal Opportunity Cell
The Equal Opportunity Cell of the college ensures that all students are treated as equal and attempts to address deep-seated inequalities in our system. The cell, along with the staff promotes awareness on the life and vision of Equality. It also guides SC/ ST students too avail of all permissible scholarships and financial assistance.
Counselling Cell
The aim of Counselling cell is to provide comprehensive guidance programs and services that will equip students with necessary knowledge, attitude and skills to become mature and socially responsible individuals. It aims to promote a just and humane society.
