Medical Laboratory Technology is an integral part of the medical care system. Clinical laboratory testing is crucial in detecting and diagnosing diseases. Medical laboratory personnel work behind in the scenes, running the tests to help doctors diagnose illnesses and make decisions about patient treatments. These technicians examine and analyze body fluids, tissues and cells. They look for bacteria, parasites and other microorganisms. People in this field use automated equipment and sophisticated instruments capable of performing a number of tests simultaneously.

a) The candidates who have completed Pre-University (10+2) examination with sciences subjects PCB, PCMB, CBZ as the major subjects will be admitted to 2nd year diploma course

b) The candidates who have completed SSLC or equivalent examination will be admitted to 1st year diploma course.

WHO has already envisaged One X-ray unit to be attached to every primary health centre thus creating the need for trained Paramedical personnel in X-ray technology. On the horizon of cancer treatment, radiotherapy plays a crucial role.

All modern cancer treatment centres are equipped with radiotherapy units which have an essential requirement of trained paramedical personnel in radiotherapy.

3. He /She may open his/her own X-ray Centre in any part of the country, subject to state Law’s or under the supervision of Medical Professional / Radiologist / Cardiologist.

An Operation Theater Technician is a person who looks after all the work & management of the operation theatre which includes managing patients in & out of operation theatre, looking after all the surgical instruments, their sterilization, the arrangement of operation theatre table, dressing table, instrument table, anesthesia table & management of OT staff. Also responsible for maintenance of drug indent, anesthetic gases, linen & their sterilization
