PUC Admissions
Any Candidate who passes in Karnataka SSLC, ICSE(X), CBSE(X), or any other equivalent, recognized by the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka. Candidate should also satisfy all other conditions set by the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka. Foreign national and candidates who have passed the Class – X or equivalent examination abroad, must obtain their Eligibility Certificate from Director, Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka for securing Admission.
Throughout the year, we attend to admission enquiries. Regular admissions take place as per the rules laid down by the Government. School Toppers and Meritorious students are considered for Scholarship and Fee concessions.

Degree Admissions
Any Candidate who passes in Karnataka II PUC or Intermediate, or any other equivalent, recognized by the Bangalore University. Candidate should also satisfy all other conditions set by the Bangalore University. Foreign national and candidates who have passed the Class – XII or equivalent examination abroad, must obtain their Eligibility Certificate from Bangalore University for securing Admission.
The Indus Valley Degree College is affiliated to Bangalore University facilitates the admission process of prospective students by offering to them required counselling and guidance to help them select the right course. The admin team guides students in processing their applications for admission in the selected course. Admissions are finalised only after completion of all formalities, and after the submission of required documents.

Rules And Regulations
The students are to strictly follow the rules and regulations as well as respect the members of the faculty.
The institution has a prescribed dress code to which all the students must abide. Boys should wear formal/casual dress and shoes. Girls should wear sarees, decent Salwar Kameez or casual pants/shirts. Girls are expected to refrain from wearing short kurtis. ID cards should be displayed at all times in the college campus. The students are requested to avoid using the college blazers outside the college campus.
Students are expected to be seated 5 minutes before the commencement of the class. Late comers will not be permitted to enter the class. It is necessary that the student maintains a minimum of 75 % of attendance as per Bangalore University norms. Student will be allowed to appear for the examination only after maintaining an attendance of more than 75%.
Students are not allowed to shout or make loud noise between the class hours or leisure time while they are in the campus. Students are prohibited from standing in person or in groups on the corridor. Unnecessarily initiating a conversation with stranger is to be avoided.
Usage of mobile phones in class rooms, seminar halls, and library is strictly prohibited. If found in similar act, the mobile will be confiscated and will not be returned.
Students who faces academic or other problems can approach the head of the Institution, head of the department or senior staff members for redressal of their grievances.
Ragging in any form is banned inside and outside the campus. Strict action will be taken against those indulging in ragging. Suspension and or withdrawal from the college is one of the actions taken immediately.
Smoking, alcohol consumption, drug abuse, chewing tobacco and any kind of mis-behaviour or any kind of unlawful activity within the campus is prohibited and will be duly addressed to the parents besides taking strict disciplinary action as per college rules and regulations. Any student found continuing with same behaviour even after reasonable notice will be immediately removed from the institution.
